eBay Account in USA while Shipping from Overseas

Hi. Do any of you have experience with successfully listing and shipping items from non-US item locations from a US eBay account?

I used to list items showing their true location as China, when I had a 20-year old US-based eBay account and both eBay and PayPal knew I was working the shipping end of the business from over in China.

However, now I am concerned that with a fresh US account, these days, I might be put under scrutiny if I show the items' true overseas locations. They would assume I am drop-shipping, don't actually hold stock, etc.

On the other hand, unless I do input the items' true overseas locations when listing them, I will not be able to select the international shipping options and am left with only domestic US options that would falsely indicate the carriers and the timeframes for delivery.

Any known workarounds for this scenario?

I do the same thing with dropshipping from China on US account without any issue. I'm doing this on both new and old accounts without an issue.

You should be good as long as the products you sell are good and delivered on time

how do you deal with returns?

I offer returns within 30 days. Anyway most of the time the buyer would change their mind when you ask them to return the product back to China. When they open return case saying the items was defective or not as described and you're required to pay the return shipping cost you can provide them your address in USA or provide return shipping label with US address
