Lol if the "VBA" is still an active bank account the withdrawal will work fine.. but you won't get the money unless you made the account yourself.

Did OP said he is withdrawing to a bank account which is not his?
or is this understood, any VBA account is not in his name?
This is what he asked-
Has anyone withdrawn money into a VBA they linked to their PayPal account?

A VBA is a bank account made in somebody else's name that's used only to verify a PP account, then usually closed. Even if the bank account isn't closed, the person who bought it to verify a PP account does not control it, so withdrawing to it would be stupid. Anything other than what I just described is not a VBA as defined by this forum before VBA's were eradicated a year or so ago.

But whoever sold him the VBA must have access to this account,if it is not closed, can the seller forward the money to OP?
You said VBA is closed,why?

If I were in your situation (I am in USA),I would buy gold using Paypal fund on Ebay ,then go to that precious metal site and sell it back to them,it will give me a check, make sure it is payable to your real name and address and now you can deposit it into your real bank account.
You may take a small beating due to bid and ask price of gold or you may make money when gold rises!

But anyway you can get VBAs (online bank/prepaid account) with access then you can do what you wish with the funds.

How can Paypal tell it is a VBA? | For the second question, it's way too risky to rely on someone else to forward money to the OP.

The guy who sold him the stealth account and the VBA,have a little trust in him, please send me back the money??????pretty please !
anyway,XSOLENT explanation of VBA is better,VBA is virtual bank account ,just like virtual visa card,it is not meant for stealth account only.
I should be able to set one up myself !
