Bank withdraw to funds failed?

I just tried to withdraw funds to Chase bank and it went completed.I just woke up AND now its saying

We received an automated response from your bank informing us that the bank account you were trying to use for this payment has been closed.

As a result, we were unable to charge your bank account for this transaction. We will not attempt to debit your bank account again. Here are the details of this payment:

the funds were unable to go through because the bank account was closed. Yet I just called Chase bank and they said the bank account is opened. The funds aren't in my PayPal account and they aren't in my Chase account. I'm pretty sure I typed in the right routing and bank account number....

Did you confirm the bank account with micro deposits?

Sorry for the probably dumb question.. but if you did micro deposits that would tell you for certain if you had the acct and routing number correct.

I didn't confirm it with micro deposits, I just copied and pasted the account information in.
I just got off the phone with PayPal and they said I received that email because my bank account is inactive and isn't holding any funds. They said it should still be processed in my bank account. Man this is gonna suck if it doesn't end up in there....

Is there any reason you tried doing a withdrawal before confirming the bank account with micro deposits?

I've heard it will work but personally I don't understand why you'd take the risk.

I had that same bank connected to another PayPal account and that PayPal sent the micro deposits so I mistakenly mistook that for the micro deposits for the account I was trying to withdraw from.

try to add bank again and confirm instalty by bank login

OP,

Do not use this bank account again. Get a new one, get it confirmed with micro deposit and hope for the best.

Also while you're at it, read the stealth guide, learn how to do stealth the correct way .

The account was 180 days past and the transaction still says completed.
