i live in new york but i opened an account under a conneticut address.. if i choose the paypal shipping method and add a address from ny would that be suspicious?

I have changed the return address many times when using Paypal to print postage. I have never had a problem and if it was a neighboring state such as you suggest, I don't think it would raise a huge red flag. Tell them you were working out of the cottage for the summer.
Would help if both addresses were at least legit in some way.

As long as neither address has ever been used with a suspended account, you shouldn't have any problems. If either address has been used with a suspended account, it's not a good idea.

nah wont be a problem. What I always do is tell them im in school.
