Why would you need a VCC for ebay?

I see sellers selling VCCs for ebay.

Why would you need?
For Paypal, yes, needed.
I don't ever remember needing for ebay.

What am I missing?

VCC is there for verification, and for paying Fees.

US stealth accounts can't pay fees with Paypal balances anymore so VCC's are being used instead more and more frequently.

Speaking as one of those VCCs sellers:

Some people use ebay without a PayPal account. In this case you need to add a VCC to eBay to sucessfully list an item

No, VCCs are used to verify your account.

Then you use a bank account to withdraw

he meant that there's no linked paypal account.
Of course, he needs paypal account to receive the payments, he can just put the pp email in the listing later on.

PayPal is a stupid place to get paid on with a new account I rather use my bank account on eBay to get paid and withdraw.

let's say I created new EB/PP fully verified, can I add another paypal email in the listing to receive payments while there is already paypal acc attached ?

OMG why do u want to do that u will probably get caught doing. Bank account is much better and easier. PayPal sucks. I rather attach VCC next time on eBay and then add my bank account to withdraw money.

eBay makes you have one to cover refunds and other things as a backup payment method if you want to use certain features. i think you could get by without VCC if you just list through website or mobile.

What are you talking about? Since when have UK members been able to add a bank account directly to eBay and get paid without Paypal processing the transaction? I'm lost.

Sorry M8 I forgot their is no option on eBay to use bank account. What about direct debit card?

ebay UK: NOT possible to get paid without PP.
ebay USA: i'm not an expert, I would have thought was the same?
ebay other places: maybe there are other options, but you need to be a native to understand the requirements and navigate the website surely?

A newbie reading this thread would be super confused.

VCC can only be used to verify your automatic payment
they cant be used to cash out
