Default Why would I want to buy bitcoin?

I see many services selling some sort of bitcoin buying?

Can someone clarify why I would want this?
I kinda know why...
But thought it would be better to get an answer from you guys.
Thanks.

The people offering these services are making money trading bitcoin.

People buy it for any number of reasons.I'd suggest most people buy it to hodl it and sell at a later date for more money than they bought it.

That's right - there is a higher fee to deal with this - depending on seller

They charge high fees because it's very risky selling bitcoin in exchange for stealth Paypal balances (where the $ could have come from anywhere). High commission is due to very high risk, and because the sellers know the service will still sell despite the high fee since it's not available anywhere else on the internet.

Most using bitcoin to actually buy things are buying drugs on the dark net, period. Most buying bitcoin on this forum are doing so purely as a way to get money out of Paypals with no bank/card to withdraw to, then either spending on the dark net or converting to fiat currency from there.

Its just another currency. If you need to ask, you probably don't need it for your business.

Nope, the charge is just right and reasonable. I see some charging 20%
But guess what, they've got returning buyers

Some people like bitcoin because of it's flexibility for transactions that are as good, or better than cash. That is, a transaction that can't be reversed and is settled quickly.

The main reason scammers also prefer crypto. Most other forms of Payment are not as absolute or can be reversed. Hence, why it's considered high risk.

I would think it's protecting sellers against iresponsible buyers crying and moaning for a refund?

True point.

I'm lost.
People are willing to give away 20%?
WOW!

They must be doing criminal activities and be really large scale.
