so run the vpn in the vm system or in the normal system?

i am trying to run the VPN in the vm system but after connected it can't connect to internet. then i open the VPN in the normal system and gointo vm system can visit internet. so how you do this?

Set your VM to "bridged" mode so it connects directly to your local network, then connect to your VPN from within the VM.

You can try also setting it up as a host only machine

Sometimes you gotta mess with the settings to get the VM to connect
