Do you guys use etsy ads and do you dropship on etsy?

How you guys get your stuff to sell on Etsy? Do you use any ads? Or do you just list and people just buy? Anyone dropship on etsy?

etsy will ban you if you will start dropship.

I dont recall Etsy has any rule on dropshipping,I notice many sell items from Aliepxress,but I think they have them in stock,not dropshipping.
I dont think Etsy is as strict as Ebay,like checking to see where the tracking comes from

NOT True, if you list the person you are drop shipping as a "associate partner" you are good.

Its not true that etsy bans you if you drop ship. It depends on the item, if it's not hand made or vintage then you are violating their rules. However you can drop ship using services such as printful or printify, as long as what you are selling is designed by you or a partner. All you have to do is select a production partner in the listing. If you want to sell aliexpress products however you will probably be banned because they do check, however dropshipping is not the problem

Etsy ads works great but it takes time to make it sucessful. Edit prices per click and look at what tags are effective, also, only make ads for products that convert in sales, not products that only bring traffic but 0 sales. Etsy will count as a profitable sale a promoted listing that brought a sale (regardless of what item you sold) thus the promoted listings that costs lots and bring traffic but do not result in any sale what so ever are completely useless and are a waste of your daily budget that could be used on a successful listing. The ideal would be making 10 usd of profit per 1 to 3 usd spent in ads, anything below that is risky as you may end up loosing money once all the fees and costs are counted.

True, but you will never be safe from suspension if you sell them. All it takes is for etsy to find out and there are multiple ways for them to do so. They cross check with other marketplaces often, if a unhappy customer reports you after finding the same item on aliexpress or even if competition wants to screw you over (etsy is terrible on this aspect). If you really feel like doing so i suggest you dont start with drop shipped items from aliexpress for the first month after making a shop (new accounts are under heavy bot survailance and will have a human verify at one point). I also suggest you dont just sell aliexpress stuff, mix it up with other items. If you do so you are less likely to be seen as a aliexpress drop shipper. Finally, DO NOT use the same pictures as the items on aliexpress or amazon. Smart dropshippers on etsy actually order 1pcs per item that they sell, and take their own pictures (perhaps in a set up they made preciselly for their etsy shop). Make it clear that the pictures belong to your shop, that way you will fool the bots who cross check images and you could potentially fool a human who is reviewing your shop after a possible report or red flag from bots.

Making a stealth account on etsy isn't easy, (thats why you dont see etsy accounts for sale often) so if you gotta do something risky that could result in suspension, do EVERYTHING you can to be stealthy about it.

Download the images from aliexpress and change their background, also use different text and use a Warehouse where your shop is located or change the shipping address for the each listing (if you send it from china than make it chine on your listing too) so you will be safe
