Default received payments - always withdraw everything or a few at once?

i'm wondering, for my new paypal account, i receive daily payments of about $20-$40, should i withdraw them as i receive them or withdraw them every time i have $100-$150? or even different, withdraw $100 every time i reach $200 as in a 50% percentage of the amount in the account?

my concern is that paypal will get worried or throw up flags thinking i'm conning them if i always withdraw everything in the account. maybe leaving a percentage in it will assure them that they have funds to hold in case of a dispute?

i guess it may depend on what you have in there, for me, i withdrew the maximum atm limit of 400 daily, i still was able to maintain a few k balance though. occasionally i would dump all of it into my main bank account with absolutely no problems whatsoever. we are talking about monthly here. so with taking as much cash as i could out of my account daily as a percentage it would be maybe as low as 10 percent or as high as 20 percent (read that as pp balance of 4k-2k. regardless, it was my daily routine to make sure and take my 400 bucks out. use it or lose it is how i felt at the time. i guess i should mention that i still use my paypal account and it is in good standing (jinx?). hope this helps

Be careful.

I was on a chat with someone early this morning who created a new ebay and paypal accounts a few months back, was doing well, very well... Had 7k in the paypal account, never touched it in 2 months and withdrew 400.00 two days in a row and paypal locked the account until they sent in copy of SS card, bank statements and utility bill. Of course they cannot send any of that info to them as it is from a banned ebay and paypal account.

They are now out 6200.00 and have no way of getting it because they used a middle name and all the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info.

I can see 2 reasons for this. 1)All of his info was legit because he didn't know any better and wasn't up to any monkey business, in which case he should be able to verify and get his money. 2)If his info and business wasn't legit he is a total moron for letting the balance get that high.

I agree, but two months ago I would have thought nothing of doing the same.

My point was if the account was frozen strictly due to the withdrawal amount and his registered info was legit he has a much better chance of getting it out.

My PP (well one of them) is totally legit and verified, but after being here for about a month I plan on being very careful.

i think the only way i would use pay pal was to wait till after the 60 days get the debit card and then not recive payments till i got the card in my hand and as soon as a payment was made id be at the atm taking it out.

Assuming that you registered your real info.
Someone else posted that there PP debit got turned down at a store and when they got home to check their account, it had been limited.

Hmm...it's not back yet. Here it goes again...

For an actual pp debit card, not just virtual, to be able to withdraw from your bank...how would you handle that? The address would have to be accurate or you would never receive it. Name could be different I'm sure. Anyway...just wondering because I've gone past the initial fear that they're an ebay trap and may want to apply for one soon...

I'm using both. Yes, the address is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ on pp. Had to as the real is suspended by ebay. Hmm...that second address thing might work. I'll look into it. Thanks

well so far I withdrew $200 and left $20 in the account. it's still pending since 2 days but no account suspension and I keep receiving payments, so I assume it'll be OK.
