are prepaid cards still allowed?

I havent been on ebay for a long time, since probably january. back then i would get these visa prepaid cards from walgreens and that would confirm my identity with ebay. but today i tried one of those and it said prepaid cards are not accepted, only real credit and debit cards are accepted.
now they have a way of telling the difference? what do you guys use?

Some cards are safe to use some aren't.

They have many ways of catching you from alot of different angles now. They are getting better and better. They are a huge corporation with many partners. That's the key; you never know who is associated with them. But if your smart enough, and you know what they know, they will never catch you.

First of all, Get eBay Stealth!

I know, new forum members come to this site searching for information and every-time they see someone saying "Get eBay Stealth" they are thinking, "Ok" this is just another sales pitch to try to get me to spend more money, and after all that I have lost from getting suspended by eBay I can't afford to loose anymore.

That's what I thought when I first came to this forum years ago, and after about 7 suspensions later (this was while managing one account at a time) I finally bought the ebook, and I now have 8 different ebay and Paypal accounts all at the same time, all eBay seller and fully Paypal verified all thanks to eBay Stealth / Aspkin. If I loose one, (which only happens due to my own mistakes) I move on to another one.

Their are many threads in this forum that are up to date on what cards are safe to use and which aren't.

Get eBay Stealth, visit the forum everyday and you will succeed.

I'm based in the UK and the prepaid card still works, however they sent a small transaction amount to you prepaid card to confirm, this never used to happen pre May 09
