Default 0.01$ auction listings, bad idea, right ?

Hi guys,

Going stealth slowly... i'm still thinking about my account permanently banned and trying to figure what got me banned, maybe i missed a point which didnt seem like a problem but, might be ?

I'm talking about 0.01$ auctions.

I'm selling services and virtual items on mobile video games, my last account lasted 2 month, it was my first actually never got banned before, i made around 100 sellings, all of them were auctions with 0.01$ starting, why such a low price ? because it reaches more interest in my opinion, most of items ended up selling around 25/30 or 70$ tops.

But, does 0.01$ auction price rings an alarm in eBay's office ? :D

Because it might be better to start auctions around 3-5$ instead, what do you guys think about it ?

Thanks.

You answered your question. Not a smart idea. Sell low cost items, you know people will buy. Or you can even sell low risk items at a small loss, which will pay off in the long run.

Nothing wrong with 0.01$ starting price, the items you are selling are high risk and you need to slow right down, build the account very slowly, use multiple accounts
