Confused about address details

I would be grateful if someone could help.

What in theory is there to stop someone:

1) Getting a virtual office address and having their business billing bank account changed to this address also

or

2) Renting a bricks and mortar commercial business so this would be your business address and you could change your business bank billing address to this address.

If I changed my details as above, then surely I could also live with someone who also has an Etsy shop, but don't want the shops linking up.

Virtual office address has more chance of being used already vs commercial business address (especially if the commercial address is not known to have an Etsy shop e.g. strip mall)

using a commercial brick and mortar address is better and then open a PO box with the post office,then change your bank account address to that PO BOX.

I technically have a “virtual” business address. In at least state of New York you can use UPS mailbox’s with suites as physical addresses. Comes with double looks when I open business accounts or things of this nature because it’s not common but I could careless what people think.

You can do that in many states,but very easy to find out,if anyone cares to find out.
