Default Best way to transfer funds... *Emergency*

I have a family emergency and need to get cash from my Pp acct ASAP. I did my weekly transfer already. which was over $500.I need to get at least 1000 more. But I dont want to get limited for transferring to much to fast.

Which would be best:

A) send the money to a friend who has agreed to withdraw the cash and send it to me

B) Take the chances with my own bank.

or I could jsut do half & half

What do you think?

PM me if need be ... I need help

Thanks!

Default Here is what Im thinking...

If I transfer to Bank acct and it gets limited they can reverse it and Iwill lose my money, if I send it to another PP acct that is verified and has no connections with me then they cant , or wouldnt touch it correct?

Without knowing what type of PayPal account you have and the subsequent history of it, I don't recommend withdrawals that exceed $499. per day.

Its a verified business acct with three bank accoutns attached , fully verified. Open for about 2 months. keeps a balance of at least 3K and I move 1000 per week , once a week. I have done that amount this week plus a 500 personal payment . I though transferring money more than a few times a week was risky. But yopu say no more than 499 per day right?

I guess another reason I am paranoid is that my deposit hasnt shown up in the bank like normally , although it says completed in PP.

You are correct ... still paranoid though

Ant the funny thing is this : with my bank , if I were to put in a transfer with PP tonight Even though it is Saturday, it would be in my bank account Monday morning. But Transfer on Thurs. and expect it on Sat, then it is slow ... Go figure

How about phoning paypal and asking for help? If you are confident the account can take a limitation & be restored ask them now what to do.....

Be upset with them quietly (like you are here) ..... only if it's the real thing.

No way this acct could be restored after limitation... No way that would happen I would have to let it go

Good luck with whatever you do then.

I just read #2: paypal will 'touch' money in anyone's account. So if you transfer from A to B, then B might get limited & A will get a hold until such time as B's problem is resolved

It's a verified Business account and you can't get past a limitation?

Not if they ask for SSN or DL Pic which I have been hit with before, and I know they would ask for SSN verification... I always get that one.

Honestly...

I have only tried one time to get past a Limitation...

I just make a new account ha ha

maybe I will try that. I have an old acct from 02 that was suspended for not paying fees, I will look into that.

If it is a business account, why not give them EIN?

Very few people know EIN are usable alternatives, and if they don't know about it, they'll know much less how to get one. It's not mainstream in any case.

By the way, leaving 3K balance at all times = terrible, terrible idea. You should leave as little as possible in there, unless move 30K a month through it perhaps and 3K is nothing to you.

I realize it is a bad idea... And I used to transfer everyday... with accts that I no longer use. I would transfer $300 each day because I have gotten limited and they kept TONS of money, and lets face it 180 days makes no difference if the check is going to an address that you cant get to , and made out to a name that is not yours

But doesnt bring attention to the acct when you transfer large amounts often? esp with a new acct? Seems like it would get more attention that way. I only wish I moved 30K a month through there! Im will get there though

From what I've been able to see in the last months most people report withdrawing daily anything under 500$ (so 499 and down) will not trigger any super-fancy algorithm or bot to limit you. Obviously this will depend of account age, status, number of disputes you get, etc.

Also, it might be worth investigating philly's comment further (about the EIN). For any new Paypal accounts you might create, having it fully verified with bank+VCC BEFORE selling is a good idea, even better is when you'd have invoices and an EIN ALREADY in hand for an eventual limitation.

If it happens you can call them and give them the info immediately, and get the account back within hours.
