Default Managed Payments Website Error

I updated my account not too long ago to managed payments. All way well, and got the upload verification. I followed and it was sent. I get a response back that my screen shot was missing two letters of my last name of the screen shot. So, I went back to reupload the document. It prompted a call us to verify your phone number prompt. Of course, the phone was out dated. I then proceed to update the phone number, but the system completely logs me out and takes me back to the give us a call prompt.

After giving it a few days to possibly clear of a glitch, I tried and it still could not be fixed. I gave a call to customer support of different occasions where I was basically told they cant touch anything in the system. Zero possibility to update personal information even if you use their system to verify who you are when you call. The glitch only results on specific tabs under your information, too. The edit email, and the edit number and address. This is beyond ridiculous in terms of allowing something so simply to basically destroy a massive account. I honestly dont know what to do.

No, the screenshot failed because it cut off 2 letters of my last name.

There is a chat button to click or call etc on the managed payment page where you can see payouts etc. It's on the right hand side.
Maybe try to chat and see if they can help you or possibly direct you to what you can do to update or edit your personal info.
I have chatted a few times. I did not have any long waits and they were very helpful. Two went as far as sending email to me to let me know my issues were resolved.
Good luck to you

Customer service should be sending you over to a managed payments expert or referring your account to one for a later callback. They aren't supposed to handle it themselves. when dealing with the managed payments department directly any problems were always dealt with quickly and efficiently.

When I clicked chat on our eBay managed payments page, it was with a managed payment customer service. That is chatting from managed payments page, else where on eBay there may be chat with customer service through eBay but I haven't seen something like that .

Update: After two calls and right at a week of time, I called back tonight. I went right through the customer service and explained I have placed a ticket and it has been quite some time. The technical service department stepped in and made me go through processes. Magically, the agent comes back and says let me send you to security. The agent was able to take the restriction off. I believe they can password or code and document then as I heard a few random clicks of the keys after she said she would take it off. So, never listen to a regular customer service agent that says they cant get into the system, because they clearly can. I was able to enter my new details with the box finally appearing and it reset. I sent back in my new SS of the bank details, so fingers crossed all is well now.

I am able to use all real info now that I have managed payments.
Prior with PayPal I also used real info but got into managed payments about the time PayPal was wanting tax info which I could not give tax info due to prior limited account.
With managed payments I am using all real info. I am taking very good care of this account as I couldn't get another account right now as you are required to provide social security or ein number
Fresh start for me with real info

Yeah, you are pretty much forced to use all real info with the new verifications. I changed all the eBay info to my real info and have had no issues. So far so good I would say.
