Be careful next time, 'NOT. If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.
Glad you did not get scammed. From now until after the holdays, be very very very careful with buyers. They start their tricks

Man, I use kijiji not craigslist. All craigslist replies I got were 99% scammers. I only got 1 reply from craigslist that was authentic.

kijiji is just CL with a better layout. It's part of the ebay family. So I hope you are paying attention to your IP and which windows user you have active... Cookies, flash, blah blah blah.

I won't go back to kijiji because of the ebay connection. Very skeevy the way they are swallowing these other sites and not even being open about it.

Yes I know. But, I just hate the layout of cragslist. They have alot of posting in canada. I posted the same listings on cragslist and kijiji but 99% of the time cragslist people were scammers. I did not get a single scammer on kijiji. But anway's I think kijiji is more popular here in canada. The usa kijiji is very slow since it barely has any postings.

Well it doesn't really matter, more people in general use CL and you can tell instantly when it's a scam from the first few messages, or even first.

My cost/benefit analysis of CL tells me that CL is a waste of time. I already invest my effort to source goods, create listings, arrange shipping, and everything related to ecommerce. It is just too much to also sift SPAM, avoid SCAM, have posts flagged by @holes, chase all over creation to meet people at grocery stores and gas stations, and after that still get 30% less than my stuff hauls in when listed elsewhere.

Just doesn't make good sense to me.

Yes, you are right vicvelcro. Online classifieds are a waste of time unless they meat up at your house. Which I do not like. I usually meat up at a gas station or a coffee store but most of the time the person shows 10 minutes late. I only sell on kijiji or craigslist when the item can not be sold on ebay.
