Default Does anyone do this...is it safe?

Access EB with IE and AOL at the same time with the same computer?

Different IP's...verified, that won't give me away.
Cookies should not be an issue, because they are not the same, right?

If this is possible could you add Firefox to the mix? I'm only thinking of doing 2 right now...want to start buying a few things with account #2 to get FB up around 10 by 30 days.

Once done I will probably let one of the accounts sit until needed and start on setting up more to have them in reserve.

I've already set up the second account and cleared all cookies for IE. I've done an IP check for AOL and IE and they are totally different. So since there are no bad cookies anymore from previously banned accts and IE and AOL browser use different cookies I should be able to have a window open for each at the same time, right?

In theory I should be able to enter through some sort of IP cloak and then get in through Firefox, but for now I'll be happy if just 2 can be accessed simultaneously.

Just out of curiosity, how do you connect to AOL? My knowledge about AOL is quite limited. Do you subscribe to AOL and connect directly or do you somehow log in through a website or their browser, while using your regular non-AOL ISP?

For old AOL users, you can use their browser through your broad-band provider

Hmmm....well the reason I asked is because some time ago I was told by another employee that ebay and aol were making a deal in where we'd be able to tell a user's actual/original IP if they're using aol as a proxy. Now, I know for sure that we can tell if someone's using an aol as a proxy, but I don't know if, currently, we can tell the actual/original IP as well.

Well, I have accessed sites (like a speed testing site) that will tell you your IP and they are indicating the AOL one, not the actual, so I don't know what magic potion EB is using to get around this one. Sure, they can tell it is a proxy, but for 99% of AOL users is a legitimate proxy.
What are they going to do, ban everyone using AOL?
There are a ton of AOL'ers that even though they have gone to broadband still like their old AOL browser.
