Re: which browser i should use after ebay suspend my account
Straight answer: Any mainstream browser that does not give up too much information.
My personal preference in order of importance are: Opera - Highly configurable but they don't advertise the sheer power of this browser. Firefox - Moderately configurable but overstates its ability to let you keep your privacy. It's become very buggy of late and things just keep moving around the user interface with each release. Versions 4x to 5x are my favourites. Chrome - On the 19th of August 2019, I received a notice to eBay's updated User Privacy Notice and User Cookie Notice. eBay stated that they're now using 'fingerprinting' methods to track users. Amongst many methods that were listed, one that repeatedly popped up was data they collected from google.
This explains why google chrome is becoming less and less privacy orientated with each release. for example, while you can turn off WebRTC with the click of a button on Opera, and on Firefox with about:config. You can no longer do so with Chrome - unless you add a line of code to a certain file.
While other browsers have a repository where you can download previous versions, google forbids to keep one for chrome. I would use up all available choices before I use chrome for my stealth accounts. MS Edge - Many Windows 10 users switch to third-party browsers. Personally, I think this browser is hideous. I wonder where it would be if it were to stand on its own merit and not installed by default on Windows machines. It must float some other peoples boat so give it a try, perhaps.
