Paypal business account need ssn card, will not take ein or itin

This is a registered llc in the state of arizona. after giving paypal my registration documents, paypal requested a

photo id

utility bill

SSN CARD


when i called to explain i am just the represenative of my business and i can only offer my itin letter in addition to my ein they told me no it needs to be an ssn. asked if i can upload the owners documents becuase he has an ssn and this is a multi member llc, i was told no becuase the account is in my name . when asked why i need a ssn they just said that is what there system required.

is there a reason they will no accept itin anymore?

i already uploaded an ein, utility bill, and articals of incorperation

dont want my account to be limited with 10k in it and then lose it to the paypal acceptable use policy as i am not american i feel i will never get it back...

i do live in the usa though and do have an itin, i am just not legally present here ... i have only logged in from my home ip which is in the usa if that matters.

This is hard. All i would say is you have to provide them the ssn. No other choice

i am not an american citizen i am inelegiable for one.


i called in a nice rep unlimited me after providing itin , passport, and all other business documents again but then the system relimited me after 5 minutes of being unlimited.....
