paypal question - hacked money, now negative...

Hey Everyone
Here is my case...
I've received a paypal $1800 payment for something I've sold thru ebay.
Since the account I use doesn't have any bank account associated (although it's on my name), I've sent the funds instantly when I found out I've got paid to my other personal paypal account.
I've withdrawn the funds. They are already on my bank account.
After 1-2 days, paypal sent me a letter that there is a problem with the payment I've received, and reversed the money to the buyer (stolen paypal account was used to pay me).

Now that leaves one of my accounts in a huge negative balance.
What do you people say, should I pay that balance, or just leave the account, and create another one?

if it were me ....

I would look at it this way...

Its not MY problem.. if Paypal wants to give them money back then let them

But it would NOT be my money that they give . Only one person decides if a buyer gets a refund and that is ME.

I would Leave the account

Re #3:

Send them as a normal transaction without doing 5 suspicious things simultaneously.

screw paypal, if buyer was a scammer, thats their problem, not yours. close account and run.

cannot close the account while its negative:(
I'm afraid they'll pass it to a collection agency. Would they do that in Hungary?

You cant close the account, but you can close the bank account associated with the account and just leave the Paypal account negative. Is it your real information? If so , yeah they probaly will turn it over for collection in the next few years. If its not your real info , then WHO are they gonna turn over to collection??
