Default New suspension email I've never seen before

Your eBay account has been suspended. eBay took this action after determining that your account was acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies.
What the hell does that mean?

I've seen that for over a year now.. I just come to understand it as a general suspension notice. Most likely you were linked somehow.

That's impossible... been using the same account for years without issues. I did not have any violations or anything.

I suppose there's no way to get out of this?

This was a 2004 account!

2004 account, must not be a stealth account, it could get linked for many possible reasons.

My PP account is not closed yet, but I expect people will start complaining and filing disputes.

Is it better to withdraw to my bank the 600$ left in the account and then let the PP go?

Both PP and eBay is stealth info.

To avoid pp reversal, withdraw the majority, only left certain amount that you feel comfortable to cover the possible disputes for the next few days.

best way to find out, is call them. They have different level of suspensions... and certain teams do certain type of suspensions, they might able to reinstate or tell you why are u suspended

And you won't either....

Not unless you have a high dollar business account that has a "account manager".
Then you are issued a direct phone number to that person.

Paypal has account managers also...

This is bad information. You can definitely call eBay on the phone about suspensions and have them lifted over the phone. Depending on the suspension, you can click on a link from the notice page when you sign in and it will give you a phone number and a 6 digit code to call in with. Good luck!

Thanks birti

I am glad it helped. They are generally good with help if you get through. I had experienced a wait for over an hour when I needed help.
I am glad it work for you.
Good luck
