You just have to wait. You are either new or the system triggered some risky activity but dont worry it will be released exactly 72 hours after to the minute as long as you didnt do anything that broke any rules

The only way to stop this is to age the PayPal account. Just keep using it and eventually they will speed up

72 hour delay normal. I would never call PayPal for something routine and normal.

72 hours withdrawals on new accounts are quite normal. 72 hour withdrawals on aged accounts may be a sign you may need to space out your withdrawals out a little (2-4 days), allowing items to be delivered and waiting for feedback to go up naturally.

Practice good habits by getting deliveries out as quick as possible (under promise, and over deliver), apply tracking where possible, letting your feedback rise in between PP withdrawals and never withdrawing more than 75% of your balance.

did you link a credit card?
it takes at least 24 hours for Paypal to collect the money from your buyer if he is using cc,bank fund.
For cross border transaction which means he is using a foreign issued card,it could take longer.
If your buyer has a history of filing disputes or Paypal has problem collecting fund from his source,or it could be you .
Having a credit card linked to your Paypal account means if the payment fails,it can always charge you card in case you have already transferred the fund out of your PAYPAL account.
Paypal has recently introduced a feature called FUNDNOW,which means you can have your fund as soon as it is deposited into your account and if someone files a dispute,it does not withhold the payment in question, thats for well behaved accounts/

New accounts means that you will have to wait from 24 to 72 hours before the do the money transfer for you.
Will show the amount as pending, and then will start the withdrawal process.

It’s a standard process with PayPal on all new accounts, once you have build up some history with them - the funds should start coming through immediately. As mentioned just insure orders are being shipped on time, gaining positive feedback as you progress & your not trying to withdraw the entire amount in your balance. For me personally withdrawals start coming through after 1-3 months depending on my sale history...

A little patience goes a long way.

Don't overuse a new account and in my experience you will quickly (within 1-2 weeks) go to 12 hour withdrawals, with instant withdrawals soon following for the majority you process.

What UKGiftWarranty said

Just wait, this happens all the time with new accounts, yes it is very annoying.

It will eventually come off, but will take a few months to be honest...

why don't you send the money from paypal to someone you know that has paypal and ask them to withdraw it to their bank then transfer the money by using online banking that would save you the delay and at the same time age your account
