Default First Google Checkout Chargeback

Im still on the ten day new merchant schedule for Payouts and this order is eleven days old , supposed to be in my bank first of next week, but there was a chargeback filed on ti this mor ning... Google asked for tracking info which shows that the iten WAS delivered to the customer and in the claim they said they didnt recieve it. So does google hold the money or should I get the deposit as scheduled? I see they are nothign like Paypal and are really on the side of the seller. Paypal would have limited me probaly for getting a chargeback on a new account... Anyhow just curious if they will withhold the deposit or not

New merchant... funds are held for ten days for the first sixty, then you go to two day payouts

thank you . what do you mean by new merchant?
1- those were created after the rules came by?
or those with 0 orders ?
for example i have some accounts created since last year without any activities? so those are considered new or no? Thank you

ok so I wake up this morning to a nice little account closure letter from google...For ONE chargeback that I sent proof of delivery AND have the buyers signature. But I got my last payout this morning as well,,, which cleaned out the account..

I immediatley transferred the balance to an account not linked to google... But the only issue is that now I have to transfer the money to the account that is linked to my debit card.... And google has my debit card number...I assume they will reverse the transaction soon, should I cancel my debit card?

Report it lost.... then you will get a new number and the details google has will be useless.

it is really scary... I thought google was the best thing since sliced bread, especially when I first got notice of the chargeback and they basically said I am completley protected ... but all of a sudden " we have closed your account and will be refunding your buyers, we hope that you can reconcile these orders" wow

At least they sent my payout first, before they closed the account

ILovePaypalNOT, you've not been reading this forum. Expect google checkout to refund every buyer's payment ever made to you, even if it was five years ago.
