Default Paymate

I got approved by paymate recently and started using on ebay.

I will post it here if they are good or not. I will sell cheap stuff first.

They only need SS and any bank account.

Default Paymate fees and sales limits and withdrawals

Credit card payments incur fees for sellers only. These consist of a fee based on the value of the payment and a flat fee per payment.

The current seller fees for a standard account is 3% + $0.50 per payment.

There is a US$5000 limit on how much you can receive in a month.

Annual Fees: None.

Monthly Fees: None.

There are no fees for buyers and they do not need to register to make a credit card payment.

Pretty reasonable. oh yes they charge 15$ for every charge back....

Receiving Payments

When a buyer makes a payment to your registered email address, Paymate will first assess fraud risk via our proven risk management systems. On approval, we will submit the payment to our bank for authorization. We will send you and your buyer emails to notify the payment status.
*

After the payment is authorised by the bank, the funds will be credited directly to your registered bank account, usually three business days later. You will not need to transfer funds or pay any fees for the transfer, which happens automatically.
*

Our bank will deduct our fees prior to settlement of funds.

Cons:
5,000 monthly receiving limit.
Paymate has to be used with your real info and SSN.
That means you can't use it with a stealth account.
Not worth it unless you're willing to use your REAL info.

I'll stick to CCnow.

Default Paymate fees and sales limits and withdrawals

ok but if you have multiple accounts like I do I could easily do 25k per month. (gross)

there is a bad and good side on their services. I have one ebay sale today and the processing of credit card is not instant. I called their customer service and they said it take about 1 business day to make sure the credit card is not stolen and thus protecting me from charge backs. I am not sure about this one.

good news is excellent customer service, I called them and they answer pretty quick, far way better than money bookers. looks like their customer service is in Australia because I called twice and both have aussie accents.

Default update on paymate

WOW, so I got my money after 3 days. 1 day clearing of credit card from customer to their bank and after 2 business days, the money is in my bank today.. So pretty much like paypal. but no 21 day hold or what so ever.

Cons is 5000 limit for 1 month or 10000$ if you choose to pay 30$ a month. Ok now I will do about 1k a week and see how it goes regarding limitation, looks like this is my full replacement for paypal.

I think you still may be able to use it with a stealth account. I have my moneybookers account linked to a stealth account. They only do that to integrate the shopping cart and see your feedback and items you're selling. However they can still request your personal info from ebay, not sure if that would matter to them or not as long as your real info from your bank and merchant account match, I think that's all they care about.

Could you please tell me how do i increase my 5k limit to 10k? (for US sellers)

"We also offer our eBusiness Account in Australia and New Zealand which allows a monthly limit up to $10,000. This account has a monthly subscription fee which is debited to the bank account you registered in advance and is non-refundable.
"
But this for AU and NZ sellers only.

I don't see any button or link in my account to increaes the limits.
thanks.

Default after a week with paymate

ok here is what they do:

They process payments takes within 3 days and your money will be deposited in your checking account in 3 days. SO they basically tell you not to ship your item until its not clear. When its cleared, just check your bank account and it will be there.

Cons,

Ok before signing up, make sure your ebay account is 30 days old or have some sellers feedback, they will suspend you if you are currently new seller and ask for drivers license, a utility bill and suppliers invoice.

Phone service is a joke, I want to edit what I said earlier, no one will answer the phone on US time, I guess they will answer at midnight.

Email is so slow too, it takes about 2-3 business days before they answer.

I havent tried volume selling yet, I will post them up here after my first 5k by the end of the month

curious. since this is a non paypal service and cant fund from a paypal account about what % of your payers pay in credit card?

>ok but if you have multiple accounts like I do I could easily do 25k per month. (gross)

do you have multiple accounts set up with your real name/ssn already? even through youre putting your first account through it paces to get to 5k sales?

>they will suspend you if you are currently new seller and ask for drivers license, a utility bill and suppliers invoice.

so youre setting up a paymate with real info for every ebay (stealth or not), every time? how would you seed it with initial seller feedback in the first place. payments with paypal?

What do I send them as my supplier info if i don't have any? I'm just selling my personal items.?

Should my ebay reg info match paymate reg. info?
thanks.

Choice

All of them pay thru paymate with no problem, well I had one today that refused to pay because she only use her checking account with paypal.

Its quite tricky but once you know what your doing, I think paymate is good. Just bad customer service....... 2 days before they reply to you.

I am using paymate. I offer only paymate as payment option. I sold 11 items. None of them are paid. Most of buyers find paymate don't accept their credit card. What is that??? I tried by myself. My credit card was also turned down. Where I do wrong?

DO NOT USE PAYMENT. THEY WILL REVERSE ALL YOUR SALES AND TELL YOU TO SHIP THE ITEM. YOU WILL LOSE MONEY, STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCUM BAGS. Never use paymate. NEVER Never, lost 300$ worth of items and 60$ on postage fees.

So wait you are no longer using paymate? if not than who have you switched over too?

(I have both paymate and moneybookers) but use only money bookers for now because I need to increase my feedback for paymate before I can use them. :(

But I was looking forward to paymate because moneybookers holds your money for 40 days until you've been with them for a while.
