Default Problem With Receiving Paypal Payment

I don't usually start any topics and try to find the answer on my own. But, unless I am just not looking in the right area, I can't find an answer. So, maybe someone can help.

2 Paypal accounts in question - one I use to sell on Ebay - it is in my husband's name with a spelling variant on his first name. My other account is completely legit. I have a debit card with it. Neither account has ever been limited. Only a handful of disputes from retarded buyers that were quickly resolved. And for these 2 accounts, the transaction amounts are very small.

For the past 2 years, I have sent money from my 1st pp account to my legit account with no problems. This week, I sent money. I got an email from paypal saying "Your payment has been initiated" and the seller had to accept payment. However, there was no payment recorded in my paypal account and I hadn't received an email as I usually would. No help as to how to accept payment.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does this mean my accounts are in trouble? I don't ever keep very much money in either account because I know they can get limited at any time.

I appreciate any help and thank you in advance.

You should double check everything. Usually this means that the email isn't register with PayPal yet and the funds sent are unclaimed. Just triple check everything and find out what or where it all went wrong.

That can't be the problem. I have been using these accounts for this for the past 2 years. I did check it though.

Well, I still don't know what is going on. I was able to send payment through my website.

Well i dunno either but try requesting money using an invoice then pay the invoice and see if it works like that.

by chance, did you make the payment on late Thursday night US time? I did a similar transaction with US paypal that is in cyberspace.

It was Wednesday and tried again on Friday. So, maybe it was a glitch. I may try again tonight. It is frustrating either way! Will post if something is changed.

Greenbean, does yur payment show up? My payment was taken out of the 1st account, but didn't show in the 2nd.

^^^Same as mine. Gone from on account but not in the second. Checking
transactions in my ledger, this has happened x2 with gmail addresses.
Luckily the amount is under US$100 but annoying tbh.

Both gmail here too. I ended up canceled both and transferring to my bank account. I get paranoid when it comes to Paypal and my money.

^^^^ I hear you. Sure did not help my OCD & paranoia. (That's why I keep a ledger to be able to trace problems)

Just an update - I just sent money between these 2 accounts and it went through. So, maybe the system was overloaded or something. But, as of now, it seems to be fixed!
