USPS Doesn't Show Gram Weight

I'm trying to print a label to return an item to USPS. I'm on USPS website, but on the "weight" category it only shows "lbs & oz", nothing for grams, so should I just select "flat rate"?

I don't want any issues with them, because this is a jewelry item I'm returning, and this is my first time actually printing a label on their website, and I've been a member here for over a Decade, lol.

Go with UPS or Fedex.

I'd love to go with UPS, but they are extremely expensive for smaller items, great for heavier items, and this would cut into the "return amount" i'm looking to receive.

2 ounces is the minimum if you are shipping USPS package.you can use envelope if it is less than 1/4 inch thick,but I would use package instead

I don think there is an carrier which let you use grams ,by the time you put it in a box or envelope,it would be at least 1 ounce,
USPS starts with 2 ox for package.

The product was less than 7 grams, not even close to an oz

Ended up taking it to the post office, and it turns out it ended up weighing 1.40 oz which i find hard to believe. Coins I've had felt heavier than that. However, our local post office refuses to ship "flat envelopes" first class, so we have to ball up Christmas wrapping paper, and add it to the envelope so it appears "non flat", so that added to the weight as well.

how can any mail weighs 1 gram,by the time you add envelope,it has to be mroe than 1 gram
