Default Transactions outside of Ebay

I've had a few people email me and ask if they can buy some items outside of ebay so that they can get them before Christmas. If someone wants to buy something outside of Ebay and then files a claim, will they win the dispute just as easy if they filed an Ebay claim? Or do you just have to show proof of delivery?

they cant open disputes for not-as-described. the only thing you have to fear is chargebacks.. just make sure the buyer "seems" credible.. and add tracking to everything, you should be fine

It's common during Holiday times. No need to worry charge-backs if U do ship them. U'll still get much more than what you lose(even if one or two file charge-backs).

coffee & the others are correct. Most people are so darn grateful that your service has bailed them out for buying presents the chances of problems is not high.

What I do is include a note thanking them for the purchase, give them info to contact me if there are problems. make them feel good about buying from you

There are also payment methods that cannot chargeback, such as eChecks (for the most part) green dot money reloads, CASH, etc...

I don't know about that First Edition, I've had a lot of problems with eChecks in the past. Mostly through my merchant account though.
