I need help about something.

this is really bothering me and it might sound stupid but i'm getting really paranoid.

I currently have a paypal account. This paypal account , I created at August 2009. anyway I've been using on and off since then.

Anyway, this past week, I remember thinking that i had some trouble registering the first time with paypal...and i kept thinking about it and i now think i might have created 2 paypal accounts accidentally..

So anyway, right now, I'm using the paypal account that I created in August 2009, and my head keeps telling me that I have a second paypal account somewhere out there and i dont know the email/passord of it..


i dont want 2 accounts. i only want one, and I;m planning on closing this one account as soon as i have transferred all my money back to my bank

anyway, what i' am scared of the most is that i have a bank account attached to my unknown paypal account.

is it possible to link THE SAME bank account to two paypal accounts?

Nope. Each account MUST have a new, unused email address and bank account! It is not physically possible to use one already registered on another account.

If you have access to old emails, you might get notices from paypal. That happened to me, I forgot about one paypal account until I got a message.

As The Captain said, there would need to be x2 different bank accounts.
Try not to worry too much

ok.. I only have ONE bank account...ands it is currently linked to the paypal account i created on Aug 2009(the one I'm using),...
so that means that , my bank account wont be linked to any other paypal accounts at all?

Any one bank account can only be link to ONE PAYPAL account?

the thing is, i dont have regualr emails. i usually just create new ones ever 6 months. and i remember creating new ones when i was setting up my paypal account.

also, i have a worrying problem.

This is a hypothetical scenario...i'm just wondering.
if someone who had a paypal account emailed paypal and ask them...

"This is my bank account number xxxxbbbbcccc..
Has THIS bank account previously ever been linked to any other paypal accounts ever? "

will they know the answer? and will they tell you?

if your having an issue with bank accounts, i have a possible alternative for you. pm me. and yes if you asked them this they would know, i dont know why they wouldnt tell you. if they dont tell you, their are always ways to make them obligated to tell you.
