Recieving PayPal payments as "gift"

I'm expecting to receive 5 payments that total around $1300 and the buyers agreed to mark the payment as "Gift" as to avoid PayPal fees. My question is, do think this wise? I received $900 as gift payments about a 3 weeks ago with no problems. I'm wondering if there's a limit on gift payments?? This is not a stealth account. Thanks ahead for any advice.

More then likely it will be limited. Not a good idea as friends and family don't send sums of money like that. Is your ebay account linked to your PayPal as well?

I have 2 Ebay accounts linked to this PayPal account but these transactions are unrelated to Ebay. Both my Ebay accounts and paypal account are 9 years old and they almost seem bulletproof, knock on wood! But I dont want to push my luck. Anyway I was just wondering how many gift payments were safe.

Just have them do a mass payment.. you shouldn't have any problems with this.

Out of eBay transactions are not as scrutinized.
