 Smart trick or dumb trick?
This has worked for me in the past where I use the EIN as my business info and SSN on other platforms, but of course they will ask for ID as Etsy is now. This is besides the point of my question really though....
They are asking for ID, I have two accounts banned before under my name. Do I risk using my full name and ID, as it seems the EIN as SSN trick worked. Or do I stay safe and spend a hour learning how to edit my ID to take a letter off and see if it passes? For example: John Dop instead of John Dope . Do bank accounts have to be EXACT name match? or you think one letter added or subtracted wouldn't matter?
