I used to try to be cute and If I lost either ebay or the linked Paypal I would continue to use the one that survived.
Now you used to be able to do this, BUT things have changed.
If you lose either ebay or Paypal then if one is still active then you do have to bite the bullet and let it go.
This is hard as it takes time and effort to nuture and grow good ebay and Paypal accounts, but you do have to be ruthless now.
Bite the bullet and bin it all, then start again from scratch.
It is the only way, sad but true.
