Other UK selling platforms still haven't asked either for NINO.
I wonder if eBay will just accept any number that fits the layout type for a NINO or whether it really has to be yours... HMRC (as this is what it is about) will have your details anyway, so eBay doesn't need them. | I'm willing to sacrifice one of my stealths to test it out. Going to submit anything in the correct format and see whether HMRC gets back to ebay saying it's the wrong info.
It could also be a "typo" at my end can't it ...
Like yourself I don't trust these platforms with such sensitive data. Too many breaches.
