 what can someone do with your check?
Coming back to the house other day and guy walked up and said did I need work doing, so I said yeah I had a fallen tree that needed taking away, so he said ok..I thought I would give him cash, but when it was done, I looked in purse I didnt have any, so he said he took checks, so I was like ok, and gave him a check with payee left blank..
Thing is, I didnt really think much about it til after, I dont know this guy, looked a bit rough!!
I will keep any eye on account but what can he do in terms of ID fraud etc, he has got name ,address and bank account number..?
other thing is he did the job...BUT he quoted me like $15, something ridiculous, and I was like ok thats good, when he had loaded it on van, he was like thats $35 !! not alot of money, but I was bit surprised and he said it was more work than he had thought!! - I feel like cancelling check, but I shouldnt right? he has my address and he did the work, I feel a bit taken advantage of, I was kind of in a hurry unloading my car and I think he could tell I was off guard with mini and my stuff I was doing..
