The bank has to WORK... Accept Paypal deposits in names OTHER than the name on the bank account.

Default Canadian US based bank accounts

RBC (or RBC USA) now offer US based bank accounts for canadian residents. So now you can actually take funds from paypal and put into your US account without any of the paypal (extra 2%) conversion rates. Basically the same as having a US account as if you were living there. I have been using this for 3 years

I have an idea... fact actually.

Most banks have laws preventing non US residents from opening a bank account in the USA. Banks are required to get a social security number to open the account as a result of money laundering efforts in the Patriot Act.

I didn't know about Canadian residents with RBC, I'll have to check that out.

If you have a passport and all documentation, I can't imagine why you could not.

I'm not sure. Banks are welcome to new business. Have you tried contacting them?

If you can't go to USA then no way. Many people tried before without any sucess. If they let international people open accounts from internet then they d be facing money laundry charge from US goverment.

Just do a search on Annonymous banking and youll find a few banks, none of them are in North America, they are all Offshore Bank Accounts in like Panama and stuff.

Virtual Credit Card PayPal Prepaid Visa LibertyReserve VCC US Buy eBay

offers you a bank account with debit card, but its costs $400. They also offer virtual credit card services.
