Paypal Delaying My Withdrawal AFTER 180 Days

Welcome to my nightmare folks.

Right now, paypal have had my money since the account died on the 9th August.

I cant withdraw the money via their normal way as the bank account on there is now closed.

So on the 18th Feb i faxed in a TON of documents, ID, Bank Statements etc just to speed up the withdrawal from the dead paypal account to my new bank account.

I have rang up several time to no avail.

Paypal have now said that it will take them a further 30 days AFTER recieving the documents i faxed in. Surely they cant do this? Need your help guys, i done the usual threaten legal action but they wont budge on this.

The problem is that you threatened legal action but you didn't carry it through. They will hold out at all costs. It only costs £25 and would have resolved this much quicker.

I would honestly stop emailing them and wasting your time...do the legal action online via moneyclaim.

OK that site is full of great info.

I will give it until the 18th (one month to the day after i faxed it their withdrawal form) and then issue them.

Show your displeasure by contacting the Financial Ombudsman. Paypal will get a nice £500 fee for their actions. The law is on your side.
