Danger with paypal money requests?

I have a mercant plus account, but I still get at least 5 people a week who email me and tell me that will only pay with paypal or just cancel the transaction. I do not want my paypal account linked to my ebay account, so I'm wondering if I have a paypal account by itself that is not linked and can just send money requests to buyers without mentioning in them any auction info so they can't trace it to my ebay account. When sending a money request you can select whether its for a service or goods.

If I do this how much per week do you think is okay before they might get suspicious or limit my account?

That's what I do , you can send money request to as many people as you want, as far as how much and how often thats something you'll have to go by your own instincs on.

I'm sure if you send out too many money requests, for the same item, same amount, etc... they might think you're spamming people.

You have to mix transactions. Don't do everything the same.

I sent out around $1000 per Paypal account in money requests per week and never have a problem. If you are worried about linking with eBay then just make sure to take out the eBay item number and just invoice the person with eBay Title in the request line for the money request. That usually does the trick. Never had a problem yet.
