Paypal Credit card made a mistake and credited my balance
OK - quick run down:
My payment for last month on Paypal credit card was $1100. I did a split payment - through paypal funds & bank funds.
Paypal had appx $600. This particular bank account had $900. Neither funding source was enough to cover the entire payment.
I payed the $600 out of paypal. I made a 2nd payment from my banking source. However, I messed up the payment and accidentally made the entire $1,100 from the 2nd source. This would completely over draw my account.
Anyway - After spending 1.5hrs on the phone with my credit card, I finally find a normal American / English speaking person who explains I need to call my bank and make a stop payment on the 1,100 payment.
I do so. Payment was canceled. Log into paypal, make the correct payment. Bill for that month is payed.
Under payment history - my $1,100 payment shows up as canceled / denied.
Today I get my bill that's due in April. It's $750. Appx $1100ish short of what I was expecting. I call my card, sure enough, they say I only owe $750.
It seems this whole fiasco somehow credited my account $1100. I've never seen anything like it. It's been over 8 days now. No change what so ever.
