Smile Help with Getting Back on EBAY

Hi, I am new to the forum and relatively new to ebay <1year. My first ebay account got suspended due to selling a counterfeit item. I had reached over 300fb 100% , got greedy, sold item and ended that account. My husbands account went down the tubes too. Last week I opened a new account and was suspended for buying 2 ebooks, which I wasn't looking for the fb I wanted them. In the interim I got resellers license, tax id, etc. I have been setup with a supplier for some high priced items that sell well on ebay (not necessarily huge profit, but they run about (1000-2000) apiece.
My first question is how slowly do I start? Two items the first week, 3 the second, etc? Also does Bidpay still limit the transaction amount to 1500? And for anyone with experience with Bidpay do they have a monthly withdrawal limit as pp does?
Obviously, like everyone here, I want to make extra money to help my family, and I want to be unnoticed by ebay. Thank you for this forum, I just signed up, but I have been reading for awhile, and I appreciate any help from you guys that I can get.

Roasnna Just make a brand new paypal account and link it to ebay. Make sure you use the same ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info you used for Ebay with the brand new Paypal account and you'll be fine.

But dont accept payments through Paypal because you will be shut down..

Thumbs up

I am signing up for Bidpay, and that will be my payment method for now, but I do need that paypal link to sell internationally, unless there is a way to bypass that which I am unaware of. My new paypal acct. will have same info as ebay, and new bank, etc. Thank you.

Question

Mr. Modee, thanks for the insight, but I want to list on other ebay sites, (e.g. ebay.it, ebay.fr, etc), and in order to do that as a US ebay member they require you to link to pp, or am I the only one this happens to? I could only find one thread on this subject of selling internationally on other ebay sites, vs. listing worldwide as a shipping option(the two are different). This even happened to me in the past selling candy to europe, and they required me to link the account. Thank you all for a great forum, and such a wealth of information.

rosanna I believe that happens on 2 occasions:

1) you are a new ebay member

2) you are selling high risk goods

I am not allowed to sell on Ebay - not even 1 item, if I do not link my Ebay account with Paypal. Sad..Mad..Sh*t.. I must accept - no other chance !
And I HATE Paypal !!

what i've done in the past is basically verify a new buyers paypal account and link it to ebay. As long as it is verified, you can sell in international ebays. Just don't accept paypal as payment.

How it works ? Why you can and why I can't. By insert item, If I do not click accept Paypal + PP mail add. They don't let me go to the next page, unless I click accept Paypal.

Don't tell me you just figured that out with Paypal???? I thought we all have already been doing that but the thing is your Paypal account will get shut down if your Ebay account is shut down for any reason.

Remember once your Ebay account falls , the Paypal does too.

I agree with Modee, My eBay account did get suspended indefinitely and is still linked to my PayPal account that not been suspended. My PayPal account has been around since 2000 with a verified rating of 120. Its my opinion that older PayPal accounts can take more abuse then newer ones. I am thankful that my PayPal account did not get suspended and will never link another account to it.

Modee, When I lost my established eBay account, I finally realized what it means to lose something that took so much time to build up. I am one of the lucky ones who has not had their PayPal accounts suspended. PayPal is still a useful and great way to send and receive payments on the internet. For all who are reading this, It is not worth risking an established PayPal account for eBay. In my opinion, PayPal is more important than eBay.
