Default PayPal monthly withdrawal limit

Hi,

My new paypal has a monthly withdrawal limit of $500.00, according to paypal I must do 3 things.

Confirm my bank (did that)
Confirm Social Security number (not yet)
Add a credit card (shouldn't be a problem)

My main concern is giving them the SSN, anyone in here has this problem and is there any way to work around it? Thanks in advance.

You can for the most part trust Paypal with your SSN. They ask all users at a certain point for this information.

Aspkin,

But this PayPal account is one of those that I used simon card and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names. So what SSN I should I use? I followed feeBay Balling's technique 'an account a day', I hope he sees this post and explains more about the SSN stuff.

Thank you.

Default Paypal asking for my SSN...

Hello, today, paypal asked for my SSN and permission to do a credit check on me. Now, you should know that this is still my real account so I had no problem giving the info. My concern is that i haven't sold on ebay for a long time because I was selling on amazon, got kicked off for copyright violation apparently and so I moved over to ebay, so I have gone from no sales to a lot fast with them. Is paypal keeping a close eye on me now and should I be listing more slowly or is this all just standard procedure that they go through?

So theoretically - can you open a paypal account with prepaid visa and no social security? If so, it's capped at $500 right?

After you rack it up to $500, just spend the money legitimately on gift cards purchased on ebay.....

Look more closely. It should be TWO of the three options to release the withdrawal limit of $500. Not all three.

Yes but, how long will a Paypal account last without a SSN? Especially if it's a seller's account.

I think he means that he just wants to make the limit of ($500) per month per account to avoid possible limitations. Which seems like a pretty good idea. No hassles.

Right. That was the case the last time I opened a paypal account like 2 or 3 years ago. But what I would be interested in knowing is whether paypal is being stricter on withdrawals now. I used to remember getting nervous everytime I made a withdrawal a few years ago and with good reason.
