PayPal and eBay - is there any way to escape 'linking'?

Hello,

I apologize if this has been covered but i have searched through the forum and not found anything.

What exactly is considered as linking a PayPal account to an eBay account, as I understand it you are referring to setting up automatic payments of eBay fees through your paypal account.

Is it also considered linking when you put your auction account name under the profile-account section of paypal to have logos automatically inserted into your auctions?.

Any input would be appreciated.

That's just about how it is now. It better to use a merchant account now. Or another option use a brand new Paypal account. But then you have to be able to verify the account when it becomes limited.
