Default does paypal hold sent money (not payments) to othe paypal accounts?

Does paypal hold sent money to other paypal accounts?

I'm thinking of sending some $$ to someone and I don't want it to be held, or limit/suspend my paypal because of it. The other paypal account is not connected in anyway, a whole different real life person in a different state.

I was thinking instead of sending the money straight I would send it to my stealth paypal buying account (not connected to ebay in anyway) then send it out from there...what do you think?

also I can't seem to find the sending limit on unverified paypals anyone know it? and would sending be considered as withdrawing?

thanks in advance.

They don't hold funds sent to another pp for the 21 day hold. But if they think it's high risk they will hold it and review it.

Sending it to another account before sending it to the person, would look worse to paypal. It would be best to send it directly. You want to keep the amount low to reduce flags, maybe send them two payments, wait a couple days to send the second.

I believe the sending limit is $2,000 and no I don't think that is considered withdrawing.

what would be considered a low amount? and the other buyer paypal account has stealth info would that help or is it still a no go?

what would be a good amount for the first payment and second payment?

ps it's not too much about $570.

You can get Both your Stealth account and your Friends account linked and in trouble, Withdraw the money A LITTLE AT A TIME into your bank account, try to Withdraw LESS Than $500.00 in a Month, Do this and you should be OK.

@slappped, fixed now. Quick merge and away we can go

@ms.pickle, when the account is so new, you have to be careful with what you do.

Whilst $500 is certainly an amount that will trigger a limitation, lower amounts will as well imo. With this amount of $750, I would be considering transferring small amounts several days apart.

The other posting was a whole different question. It was "does it matter where the money originated from? either it be a ebay transaction or direct from a bank withdraw into a paypal account" I didn't want to get off topic and not have the question unanswered

They can hold it for a fresh account. One of my other accounts, I received a few hundred dollars. Since I didn't want it to get stuck in there, I sent it out to a couple of people.

Paypal put a hold on the funds, then limited the account. Paypal eventually put the funds back into my account, so now they are stuck there.

When Money Moves too Quickly thru (In and OUT) a PayPal Account it WILL GET LIMITED VERIFIED or NOT!!!

When Paypal Limits an Accounts, NOT 1 CENT Leaves that Account, No Matter What you Try. The Money DOES NOT LEAVE that account, in ANY Direction.

Kind of like in the Movies when the COPS have, ALL THE EXITS BLOCKED!!! You either Surrender and Play THEIR Game, by THEIR Rules, or you Go Down in Flames!!!

So Basically, Stop Banging your Head up against the wall (it will hurt, after a while) and Make up your Mind, Play THEIR Game and try to Lift the limit (or to keep from getting limited) or Go Down in Flames and wait the 6 Months
