has anyone has had luck with an Alternative? Like your own store?

I sell alot of overstock, past season, returned, and used clothing. They are not really designer, but still has a brand attached to it (think semi expensive things in Saks or Nordstrom). I'm getting to sick of Ebay and want to start my own store, or find an alternative.

Has anyone has had luck with Google or your own store? How do you market your own store?

Perhaps it's better to know the way around Ebay's system but I don't want to be totally dependent on Ebay

Having your own store is so worth it! I started my own online shop before eBay and to this day I still have it going strong, giving me sales everyday. The only thing is it takes a lot of work to start your own website. I have 75 websites now, each taking a lot of work, but they all do their part.

If you want to know more, I'll be happy to help with this. This is the part I love, not eBay. Sure eBay can give you the traffic which gets you the sales, but eBay is not the only way.

WOW 75 stores?!!!!!!!!!! Are they all integrated? Did you use Mr.Site? I am thinking about this, or starting a wholesale website where people can buy pallets/bulk lots. Not sure yet....

Can you imagine how much fun it would be clearing cookies and changing IPs running between 75 sites

It's not like that. There's no need in clearing IPs and cookies with my OWN sites. They're only 3 selling sites, the rest promote my selling sites.
