Default New Accounted opened

I just opened a new account with the the advice and techniques that you guys share with everyone.

First off, Thanks to everyone for your help with this. i would be lost if it wasnt for this forumn.

After opening the new account i came accross a couple things that i would like to ask you guys about

1. After registering my gift card, ebay sent me a reminder that all ebay fee's will be automatically deducted from my "Credit Card". My other options that they give me is a checking account and paypal. Since i only have like $15 on my gift card, how do i get around this?

2. I opened a new auctiva account to go with my ebay account. My plan was to log on to my ebay account at the library when needed and to list my items on auctiva from my house so i wont get linked and you guys said it shouldnt be a problem but when i signed up to auctiva they required me to sign in to my ebay account so they can install an "ebay token" that will allow my listing on show up on ebay. Is that going to be a problem or something that could link to my home computer if i sign onto auctiva from home? i just wanted to confirm.

3. I made one listing just to try it out and under forms of payment it says list paypal address or other merchant information to accept payment but all it allows me to do is list a paypal address and not choose anything else. I was wondering what was going on with that? it seems ebay has changed its software cuz its different then what it was a coupel weeks ago

its supposed to be account not accounted lol

1. Pay what you can with that GC, Next time put a higher balance on your GC so you don't have to change it every month.

2. The Ebay token, from what it says just hooks Auctiva up to ebay allowing you list using Auctiva's "stuff". It does not have anything to do with the linking you are referring to. (as far as I know)

3. I don't know anything about that, usually it gives a paypal address that allows you to chose check, money order, or merchant account.

Would you be safe selling that much right away, with a new account?

You could mail a money order, under your ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name of course.

no you cant pay it with google checkout. They do keep a balance with GC but it cant be used to pay other people, it can only be transfered to your bank account. If your accounts still going strong by the time your ebay fees are due your best bet would be to just mail a money order. I think youd be better off just opening a new ebay account though.

so what does it keep? When you click "payouts" it tells you how much $ GC is holding.

Wrong. That tells you how much and when your money was sent to your banking account thus "payouts"

You have to create the Auctiva token with a "clean" PC (the library will work). You do it once and you are all set going forward. You can then go home and start listing auctions thru Auctiva and you will not be linked.

on the paying ebay fee's issue. i just tried to go on to change my method of payment to a money order type of payment but it only gives me 3 options, Direct Pay (from my bank account), Credit card (only got a $15 gift card on file), and Paypal (cant use this for obvious reasons).

So how do i got about this, i would like to just send them money orders before they try to use the credit card on file

just send a money order in before they charge your credit card. You have plenty of time (at least 1 month) before they charge the card.

Make out the money order to whatever eBay tells you in the payment instructions.. go to your seller account and the instructions for how to use money order as payment are in there somewhere.

I suggest that when you were at the library get your ebay token while you are there.
If you access your new account at home with out following aspkins rules you will in most case be linked.
Clear cookies and files and check ip address then turn the modem off then on again and check that you have a new ip. Then i think you will be safe to access the new account at home.
