Default eBay Digitally Delivered Items

I was selling some item on eBay which were being delivered digitally. I got hit with an MC018 stating that the item breached eBay's 'downloadable media policy'.

My question is, are you allowed to sell items on eBay and then deliver them via email or do you have to send a copy in the mail?

What's there rules on this kind of thing?

Ah, sorry answered my own question just found this on the email they sent me 'Please note that you can't list any digitally delivered items on eBay'. I always thought you could send items this way, what about all the people doing it on Xbox 360 codes and such?

Not a good idea, I did this in the past, and people will recieve the item, then 7 days later file a "Item not received".... you will be forced to give a refund.

Don't bother, unless you sell hundreds of items! (like me!!) in which case only a small minority of customers will file a item not received case. Which you will have to refund.

No protection at all. You CAN use classified ads and have a button which sends payment to your paypal account and do it that way, theirs not problems doing this, (But you probably wont sell as much as people arnt comfortable doing this then buying off ebay)

Plus Classified Ads generate no feedback which is key...
