because some situations..people use it for their websites just fine..with no limit and such..so i was wondering..cause alot of customers..prefer paypal because its "the safest way to pay online" | I have 2 sites that accept both credit cards and PayPal. I definitely get PayPal orders, but the majority of orders - by far - are paid by credit card. So you might want to look into a merchant account.
Merchant accounts can limit you too, but once they see you are fulfilling orders quickly and there are few or no chargebacks, they will raise the limits.
I would do this even if you have to go with a "high risk" processor that charges more. Just use them for six months and then you can switch to a new processor easily. The new processor will want a couple of months of statements. Once you HAVE a merchant account, they are easy to get.
A good one is charge.com - if they cannot approve you, they will hook you up with a company that CAN. And they will usually give you an answer within 24 hours. It costs nothing to try, so you have nothing to lose.
