I sold a few Window's 7 operating systems on ebay. I was wondering... Would they suspend me for it?
At the moment, I'm selling 10 Window's 7 ultimate's over 10 paypal accounts. All of them sold and the bidding ends in 5 hours. So i'll be up by $1200.
Each account has different paypals, bank accounts, etc. I've followed all information in the stealth guide.
Is it a big risk to continue selling these? Would I get shut down soon? Even when they are 100% authentic with COAs, receipts and etc?
Thank you.
Software is currently THE HOTTEST thing on Ebay, Nothing will get you suspended faster, even if it is Authentic. Ebay is under A LOT of pressure from Microsoft, Adobe, the BSA, ect,ect because of Pirated Software on the site.

this man speaks the truth. its way to hot an item for ebay..especially with a new account. i found out the hard way...not fun
plus it will never be a long term solution to making money or a short term for that matter with an old or new account...the email with the bad news will happen SOONER than later.
Adobe you can get away with for a few days and Microsoft you can get away with for 2-3 months. Just depends on how long you wanna last at least that's how it was several months ago with Microsoft anyway.
My policy is while yes you have a chance (probably good in the longterm) of being suspended...if it aint broke, dont fix it. Sell what you can, profit from it, make sure your bidders are happy (I don't like ripping people off period), and make sure you dont have plenty of inventory if and when you are slammed down.
Pat on the back so far for getting by with fresh accounts and such though
But the thrill and risk is much more enticing in a violent city...meeting random people in random parts of town with the Windows 7 stuff...sounds like a fun weekend
Fun? Certainly. Profitable? Not so much. Insurance copay for treatment of injuries or bail to get out of jail for assault charges (self defense, of course) will definately cut into the markup. Insurance copay is tax deductible, but I'm pretty sure bail isn't.
