Default PayPal limit checklist ...supposed to turn green?

Is the checklist of documents you submit for the PayPal limitation review process supposed to turn green after you've uploaded them?

I uploaded all the documents they requested (4 documents), but it still shows the little checkbox as red and unchecked and saying 'awaiting your response'.

I think it was delayed a day or two for me when I was being verified and confirmed among other things.

Just as I was reading this thread, I got their response:

- Submit Tracking information for the payments received into your PayPal
account:
(4 items)

- Submit copies of the original bills of sale or invoices referencing your
purchase or acquisition of the items you are selling along with the name
and telephone number of your supplier(s) for the following transactions:
(4 items)

No problem, I have the bills of sale for those items from a legit supplier, but I don't have 'tracking numbers' because the items are just $15~ and $5 for shipping ..how the hell should I get a FedEx or UPS tracking number for that price? Other mail services don't provide a tracking.

Lost cause then...?

Sometimes I wonder if Paybay actually looks at those receipts they ask for in the first place. It always seemed like just another stall tactic to me, as they know most people won't have invoices or "supplier info" for the items they sell.

I don't think they do. They just want to 'filter' out the people that can provide it vs. the people that cannot. It's ridiculous having to provide a FedEx or UPS (only online tracking ones available from where I live) numbers for an item that has $5 shipping.

In a way, it almost seems like they only want sellers selling $500 items with $80 shipping. But then again, if you sell high cost items, you get suspended too. It's stupid :D

No big deal, I wrote all my customers the story about PayPal and told them to complain to PayPal about it. In the meantime, I'm selling happily on my other accounts..

How the hell can everyone provide a tracking number to PayPal if only the expensive shipment methods provide it? People sending regular mail don't have a tracking number, wtf...

You know...I'm wondering if PayPal accounts are showing as 'high risk' if you don't enter a tracking number for every transaction. They have millions of accounts, what if you just enter a bogus tracking number for each processed sale? It could be that this doesn't trigger the alarm in their system..
