Default Opening a New GCO Account

Ok so I wont up this morning to find out that my GCO was closed, for what I do not know. I haven't even used it for weeks so luckily I got all my payouts. The bad thing about it is they don't even let you see your sales history after they close your account. WTF? At least paypal will let you see your history after they limit you, in cash there were any issues with customers.

Anyway, is it easy to open a new GCO account? Just need a new name and bank account, etc.? can you have multiple GCO accounts?

Thanks.

Its seems like I am running out of merchant account options!!

*BEWARE* *BEWARE* GOOGLECHECKOUT IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!!!! I used them early this year. Verified everything...I put to charges through them. One for $1,550 and another for $260. They put my account on hold and then after I emailed them (yup...absolutely NO telephone support...they don't even give you a number to call), they send me a lovely email telling me (a month after items shipped), that they are CANCELLING my account and REFUNDING all my customers....all without a reason and with no one to contact.

*BEWARE* - they make you agree that they can refuse to process your orders at any time, apparently giving them the right to refund your happy customers making them even more happy as they GOOGLE does not require them to RETURN the merchandise. Isn't that special?

Luckily, I was able to get one of my customers ($1550 sale) to return the merchandise...but completely lost the $260 plus the merchandise!

GCO did this to me too but they only refunded money that hasn't paid out yet. I usually don't ship until the money has been paid out to my bank account.

Any good alternative for GCO to link to cartmanager then? I've looked around but can't seem to find any decent fees on merchant accounts...

think i am going to start using Google Check out again. anyone using GCO today? Any big changes over the past few months? I like the fact that you dont have to transfer money and your money automatically gets transfered with the payouts.

So are you using Google Checkout for your ebay stuff?
Reason I ask, I have Google, CCNow, Moneybookers, and of course Paypoo. I don't want to use paypal if all possible, CCnow's fees are at like 5%, and Moneybookers only pays out every two weeks or so. Google seems to be the best option right now. I have Auctiva, and am not sure if I want to pay the hefty $50 set up fee for cartmanager yet.
Any suggestions for me?
Thanks!

Its all about getting your customers to agree to your terms. Make some kind of indirect note in your listings. I also message EVERY buyer after auctions end. Its really hectic but its the price of getting away from paypal without merchant approval. If they still insist on paying with paypal, i have a spare paypal account (not linked to any ebay) that takes in payments. I use that paypal account as a last option.. These days i dont find it hard to get people to pay with it though... Just set up some pre written payment instructions to copy & paste into your listings and you should be good to go

I am not using GCO to process my ebay payments. I need to start putting some kind of message in my listings stating that I will manually send an invoice for payment. Right now, I just refund the paypal payment and manually send a GCO payment. I just charged my first sale the other day, we'll see how it goes.

I think I'll be opening up a new account soon. I'm hearing you can't sell vero.

How would GCO know if your selling Vero? Just make the description field very general when you send the invoice. For example, if you sell a Louis Vuitton handbag, just put "Womens purse" in the description.
