Default Stealth - new listings

Just about to list a few things on my new stealth account.

I really want to sell a **** load of stuff, but obviously that is a bad idea. So for now I will sell a few things for the biggest margin possible, and keep total sales under say £1000 for the first month(maybe that's too much?).

Does anyone have any tips for new accounts, before I potentially make some mistakes?. I generally use Amazon for photos of my goods, is that OK?

I think the best option is to take it slow. I wanted to list a lot of items, but I have done that before and got limited for that. Now it is just sell 2 items, wait a couple of weeks then maybe 1 or 2.

On the stealth it states to wait till you account is at least 30 days old; though, it depends on how high of a risk your items are.

Yeah, 30 days is a long time. What i'd like to do from the start is sell some very small, low risk items, such as books to get me to the stage where I have feedback and I'm receiving instant payments. If I say sold 5 - 10 books at around £3 each in first week, would that be too much?

There is a simple solution for this: create multiple stealth accounts and sell your items in those accounts. Sure it's more work but in the end it's worth it, and it really decreases your chance of being limited if you just sell a sh*tload of stuff in one account. The key is dispersity. I have seven new stealth accounts, and I only sell two items on each account each week (the total worth of the items I sell on each account is $100.00). I withdraw them all into separate bank accouts (saving accounts, which you can find anywhere on the internet). The saving accounts I use then lets me withdraw the money into my real checking account, Combined I bring in over $700 on a good week, and I haven't gotten limited because of the dispersity of my selling habits.

Yes that's definitely the way to go, the more stealth accounts I have the more I can sell. My biggest problem right now is that I want to set up more accounts but i'm overseas currently, and I don't think Ebay and PP would like me setting up new UK accounts with foreign IP addresses.

Anyone have any experience with this?

with all these stealth accounts you need bank accounts/addresses and vcc's...

for 1 that is time consuming, and 2 doesnt all of that effect ones credit??

yeah but with regards to the po box address, you have to pay for them each time a pop... that can be anything from £30-100 - month... those kind of funds sometimes are a bit steeeep :/
