how to verify the phone number in the UK?

Hi guys,

I have read around but i cant find anything recent that works for verifying a phone number in the UK? does anyone have any info on where I can get a number that can be forwarded to my mobile? and can it be done over the internet imediatly? Or is anyone offering this as a service? if so how much?

Also do you have to keep the number running whilst you are using the ebay account its connected to?

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

To paraphrase the main man Running's comments in other topics, a google search of VOIP UK will reveal nice phone forwarding services that seem to be cheap.

I will recommend my1 voice . com - not best price though i think...
