Default Wholesale Clothing Info, Dresses etc!!

Hi there, i know a lot of people don't like giving out supplier info and i for one am all for self-research and patience in trying to find profitable items with a respectable margin.

BUT, being from the UK, (other people from here will know what i mean) I see a lot of No-Name clothing stores, sometimes on markets etc, selling Non-Brand name clothing, mainly fashionable women's dresses. These normally sell for around £15-20 on markets and i was really wondering where these people get their stock from, also the advantage i can see with this is you can keep up to date with latest fashions and everyone needs clothes.

So basically i wondered if anyone had supplier info or contact info for this kind of stuff. Seems a lot harder than i initially thought!

Kindest regards, Vimto.

I too would be very interested in this. I've designed a few dresses, and had them made overseas, but have never come across anyone with multiple styles available for purchase.

I don't think there's much room on eBay to try and get in, but i could sell a lot of the trendy dresses locally. If anyone has any connects, or wants to go in on a group buy, I'd definitely be interested.

Yeah i know exactly what you mean! I can easily sell them around where i live to other university students, etc etc. Just hard to find a seller. Id be happy to go in on a group buy.

Perhaps i should try asking the people on the market where they get them from!

when you say "market", do you mean the flea markets around your city?

if so, good luck.

i tried asking a few of them around here, and they basically laughed at me. they don't want people like us in on their secret. they are probably having their 7 year old children make them in their basement. (LOL!)

LMFAO!

Now, now... we don't want any child-labor claims coming to our precious forum.

Well, not exactly flea markets here in the UK, a lot are proper shops that you would find on highstreets, but the merchandise is mainly no-make clothing lines.

On the Child-Labor claims i'd happily employ one if they had the skills to make me some clothing

you might actually get somewhere with the proper shops. they aren't quite as snobbish as the people I was referring to. I've actually gotten a few retail stores at the shopping malls here to give me some product insights before, and a few allowed me to do a bulk buy with them.

good luck, and let us know how it turns out for you.

Default You need name brand clothing I can help*

Are you saying that you need name brand clothing in bulk suppliers?
or do you need clothes that look like name brand clothing not branded?
I deal in name brand clothing and have some suppliers that are reliable every 3-4 weeks for new merchandise.

The only problem with buying clothes online is getting the size right. I alrways had problems ordering clothes online as they were usually too short or too long! Arghh...

Thanks for the tip Burning - that's what i am a little hesitant about - good prices but the custom fit would kill it.

The problem with Taobao.com is if you do not speak chinese, and possibly do not have anyone to mail you the package overseas. It might be a problem. Also the quality is a issue, you would need to call up the supplier and make sure they don't give you bad quality.

I ordered a button-up shirt and it was stiff as a rock, basicly 100% Polyester. Have to avoid that :P
